Cody Tuma, realtor extraordinaire, was born and raised in Bend, Oregon (so he’s extremely knowledgeable about the area) where I made an offer on a house, sight-unseen. Just speaking to him over the phone the first time, I knew he was the perfect realtor for me. He instills an enormous sense of confidence. He was accommodating too, walking me through the entirety of the property with his iPad while I was behind my desk in San Diego deciding whether to move forward or not. He was as thorough if I had been there in person to inspect every nook and cranny. He demonstrates mastery of the real estate market (if he didn’t know something, he’d research it and get right back to me) and always answered my calls, even if he was riding the chair lift on Mt. Bachelor! Besides all that, he was fun and congenial. I flew into town for the contractor’s inspection once I had a signed deal (he did a great job during negotiations too), which was the first time I’d ever met him face to face. Thereafter, I returned to San Diego, and he stayed on top of the milestones and details designated in the contract. And the closing of escrow went as sooth as butter. Other members of my family are planning to use Cody for another two home purchases. After such a positive experience, I’d never consider another realtor for any of my future real estate transactions.

The fact is, we've completed 3 transactions with Cody in the span of 3 months. The first was for my son, the remaining two, my mother's and my new residence, which I'll be addressing in this review. FABULOUS. That sums up my experience working with Cody. I purchase my new Pahlisch home in the River's Edge Golf community sight unseen (and the purchase price was $759,950.) He walked me through the home with his iPad showing me every nook and cranny and spent all the time I needed. The home met my criteria in every aspect and I never would have seen it had Cody not understood what I was looking for and took me away from another home that I was close to making an offer on. He is a naive Central Oregonian and knows Bend inside and out too, which can't be underemphasized. He's fast, smart, listens, is meticulous, and gets the job done, no matter the time of day or night. The builder typically doesn't negotiate price much if it all, but Cody got me an awesome refrigerator and wine fridge thrown in the deal which was full asking. He's my realtor for life...though I don't see me selling any time soon. But who knows, I might someday buy another property in Bend. In which case, I will only use Cody.

Cody, done a good job finding properties that suited my needs. Cody worked well with my time I had to look at properties. He knows what properties can be financed and one that could only be a cash offer. Cody made the new home finding a easy process And kept me informed every step of the sale.
